Simon Banville is an illustrator, author, and cartoonist who has been creating comics and illustrations for over 20 years, combining humor with thoughtful storytelling.

His comic strip series Elora, published in Les Débrouillards magazine, tells the story of a curious young girl who explores the world alongside her bird companions.

In parallel, his editorial cartoons—featured in L’Aut’journal and the Syndicat de Champlain’s newspaper—offer a sharp and satirical take on current events.

His illustration work is also appreciated by various companies, community organizations, and schoolbook publishers.

Since 2006, he has published four comic book albums in the Asymptote series, released by Éditions du Renouveau Québécois, Éditions Les 400 coups, and Éditions Vent d’Ouest. He is currently working on a fifth comic strip album.
